Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Ages 7 to 13. A twelve-month curriculum, a safe mat, and a coach who knows every kid by name.
For Parents
Kids who can handle themselves physically stop being targets. Jiu-Jitsu gives a child control of a situation without throwing a punch.
Every class has a structure: line up, warm up, learn, drill, play. Kids learn to listen, wait their turn and finish what they start.
Jiu-Jitsu is control, not striking. A child learns to get off the ground, escape a hold and stay calm, and learns the tap before anything else.
Stripes and belts are earned against written requirements you can read. No mystery promotions, no belt factory.

The Curriculum
The kids program follows a written, proven curriculum, so every class has a purpose and every child knows what they are working on. Classes run the same way each day: a warm-up, one technique taught and drilled, then a game or a controlled round that puts it to use. A child can join any time and never be behind. Stripes and belts are earned against requirements you can read, and you will hear from Coach Cliff when your child is promoted.
Structure
Warm up, learn one thing, use it. Same rhythm every class.
Join any time
The curriculum cycles, so a child who starts mid-year is not behind.
Progress you can read
Promotion requirements are written and posted. No mystery belts.
Safety First
The First Class
Coach Cliff calls or texts within one business day to confirm the day.
No sitting on the sidelines. The coach brings them in with the warm-up and pairs them with a friendly, experienced kid. You watch from the edge of the mat while the coach explains what is happening.
After class, Coach Cliff tells you one specific thing your child did well. Then he shows you the curriculum, the schedule and the price, and you decide. No pressure.

Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM.
$59 every two weeks for two days a week, $69 every two weeks unlimited. Same rate as adults. No sign-up fee.
